Parent Programs
The programs below are open to all parents who are looking to learn valuable life skills or get more involved with their children’s education. These curriculum-based groups are partnerships between the NWC and other local Chicago organizations.
Parent University
Parent University brings free resources, programs, and classes to parents and the community. Opportunities include ESL classes, GED prep, nutrition and wellness, and CPR. Check out our full lineup of classes below.
Parent Mentor Program
We have seen that when parents, students, and school leaders work together, we can improve the quality of education in Belmont Cragin's public schools.
Our Parent Mentor Program provides in-class, personalized support across seven local public schools. Every year we organize 40+ parents who ensure that every child receives crucial individual attention — socially, emotionally, and academically.
